The final stop (sniffle, sniffle) on our cruise was Tauranga, New Zealand. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful last day. The weather was warm and sunny. We decided to visit Mount Mauao (aka the mountain of many vowels) and enjoy the amazing scenery.
After our hike I decided that I needed more of a workout so I started lifting weights by the beach.
Our final day was a very relaxing one. A perfect way to end our trip. We left that evening for Auckland, New Zealand, where we disembarked and made our way back to Hong Kong via Sydney.
We loved Australia and New Zealand. Where else can you climb the arches of a bridge, shear a goat, ride on a Puffing Billy, hug kangaroos, drink a cup of liquid chocolate, find yourself in an Antarctic wind storm and climb mountains all in one vacation? We are very happy we had the chance to visit while living in Hong Kong.
