We are finally getting settled here in Hong Kong. We have our apartment and furniture due in next week. It will be nice to finally blog from a real chair rather than a laundry basket full of towels. :-)
Once we are all settled in, we'd like to to start our adventures. Where should we visit first? I was thinking of Thailand but there has been some trouble in Bangkok recently so we may wait on that.
Any suggestions? Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia (hadn't considered this before, but the commercials here for Malaysia are sooo catchy!). Vote here!

I vote for Singapore. I heard that they don't make fun of you there if you sing poorly. Thailand, on the other hand, is very formal. It used to be called Suitandthailand but they shortened it to accomodate casual Fridays in the office. Now that suits are no longer mandatory, it's known only as Thailand.
I do want to visit Singapore. I just have to remember not to jaywalk.. i think you get your feet cut off!
Save Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia for when we come visit! So that leaves you guys..ah.. Laos?
My friend went to Malaysia (I think) and said it was gorgeous. You should go there first.
Spoke to friend who said, "Thailand then Vietnam or Malaysia. Singapore is nothing special just a nice breather between trips."
and... "they shouldn't go to Bangkok unless they wanted to see tons of hookers"
